Table of Contents

Pre-Clean

  •       Inspection and damage report
  •       If damage, take lots of pictures and send to Elam
  •       Incase of smoke smell, Open all doors and windows, Spray ‘Angry Orange’ and ‘Zep’
  •       Report smoke smell to Elam
  •       Items left behind, Send pictures to “Guest Communications”
  •       Check that all light switches, TV’s, etc. are working
  •       Strips beds and gather dirty towels
  •       Inspect all bedding for stains (sheets, comforters, mattress pads, etc.)
  •       Take pictures of any stains, Treat stains
  •       Start laundry

Bedrooms

  •       Dust ceiling fans, light fixtures, windowsills, décor, etc.
  •       Wipe baseboards and furniture
  •       Sweep cobwebs
  •       Check all drawers for items left behind
  •       Tidy any bedside stands, chests, closets, etc.
  •       Empty trash can and replace bag
  •       Open curtains and clean windows as needed (keep blinds down)
  •       Close and lock windows
  •       Clean all mirrors
  •       Sanitize all high touch points (doorknobs, light switches, etc.)
  •       Remake beds and spray with fabric refresher
  •       Look under beds and furniture for dust, pests, and any items left behind
  •       Vacuum carpets/Sweep and mop floors (under beds and furniture)
  •       Stage (adjust chair, turn on accent lights, set heat to right temp., make it look clean and inviting)
  •       Spray air freshener

Bathrooms

  •       Dust window sills, décor, light fixtures, and shelves
  •       Wipe baseboards
  •       Check for cobwebs and sweep
  •       Clean and sanitize sink/vanity (ABSOLUTELY NO HAIR!)
  •       Clean and sanitize tub/shower (ABSOLUTELY NO HAIR!)
  •       Sanitize and polish all faucets
  •       Wipe outside of vanity cabinet
  •       Scrub and sanitize toilet bowl
  •       Wipe top, sides, and base of toilet
  •       Clean mirrors and glass shower door
  •       Tidy and replace cleaners’ underneath sink
  •       Wash fabric curtain and change liner as needed
  •       Empty trash can and replace bag
  •       Sanitize all high touch points (doorknob, light switches, etc.)
  •       Restock guest toiletries and air freshener (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc.)
  •       Restock with fresh towels, hand towels, and washcloths (at least 2 for each bedroom)
  •       Put new toilet paper roll on holder and fold end
  •       Close shower curtain and put down toilet seat
  •       Tidy all amenities (neatly wrap hair dryer cord, etc.)
  •       Sweep and mop floor 

Living Room

  •       Dust ceiling fans, light fixtures, décor, etc.
  •       Wipe window sills, and baseboards
  •       Dust top, front, and underside of furniture
  •       Clean windows (as needed)
  •       Close and lock windows
  •       Turn TV on and off to ensure its working
  •       Sanitize all high touch points (doorknobs, light switches, etc.)
  •       Empty and clean trash can and replace bag
  •       Dust and tidy décor, bookshelves, lamps, etc.
  •       Tidy all furniture
  •       vacuum rugs and spot clean as needed
  •       lightly spray fabric refresher on upholstery and wipe down leather surfaces
  •       remove couch cushions and vacuum crumbs
  •       place all decorative pillows and blankets
  •       sanitize all high touch points (light switches, doorknobs, etc.)
  •       sweep stairs (top to bottom) and dust banisters
  •       wipe stairs
  •       vacuum, sweep, and mop floors

Laundry Room

  •       make sure both the washer and dryer are empty (A MUST!)
  •       clean lint trap
  •       pick up any softener sheets and trash
  •       fold all laundry and put in proper place
  •       sweep/vacuum floor
  •       leave washer lid open to prevent mildew

Post Clean

  •       Adjust temperature / ACs / fireplace to seasonally appropriate setting
  •       Turn on accent lights
  •       Make sure everything is in its right place and looks neat
  •       Fold all laundry and put in HK closet
  •       Put any cleaners/supplies you used in HK closet
  •       Lock supply/HK Closet
  •       Spray room freshener in each room
  •       Double check staging (make sure everything looks good!)
  •       Look all windows and doors
  •       Exit unit and lock the front door
  •       Is the unit in good condition?
  •       Does the unit LOOK good? (staged well)
  •       Does the unit SMELL good? (air freshener)
  •       Does the unit FEEL GOOD? (Temp)
  •       Does the unit SOUND good? (no annoying noise)
  •       Is the unit PEST FREE?
  •       Is the unit totally secured? (all windows and door locked)

Outdoor

  Grills
  •       Remove any left behind food
  •       Use grill brush and degreaser to remove all grease from grates
  •       Remove grates and clean out all ashes, food, etc. from bottom of grill
  •       Empty the drip tray
  •       Wipe down the outside with soap and water
  •       Wash all grill utensils
  •       Check propane level
  Porches, balconies, Sitting areas, etc.
  •       Tidy all chairs and furniture
  •       Remove cobwebs
  •       Pick up all trash
  •       Sweep off porches, walkways, balconies, etc.
  •       Use battery blower to blow of driveway
  Hot Tubs
  •       Run jets for 15 minutes
  •       Test water
  •       Balance PH
  •       Balance Chlorine/Bromine
  •       Balance any other needed chemicals
  •       Scoop out any debris in the tub
  •       Clean tub perimeter with a rag and surface cleaner
  •       Wipe cover with a wet rag
  •       Wipe outside of tub with a wet rag
  •       Set jets on low
  •       Replace cover and latch
